Some Buttercup Love

I'm a bit smitten by the Buttercup collection from Lily Bee Design. It's a bit unexpected as I'm normally drawn to more colors but I absolutely adore the mix of patterns. It's just lovely! Before I began to pack all my scrap stuff, I made a couple of cards using this luscious product. The houses on card one were cut with the Silhouette Cameo.

I thought the zig zag paper would be cute cut up and used on top... kind of giving the illusion of the sky and in a fun way. Using two different colors of the alpha adds some cool interest (I think so anyway) to the card too. How cute are those houses??? It was fun to finally use this shape.

I love the bag o' bits that are part of the Lily Bee collections now. There are die cut banners and shapes that are so fun to use. To help balance this card, I used a border stamp and head embossed.

Happy Monday!

I have three more days of work and then the final packing and cleaning ensues. Can't believe that this time, next week I'll finally be in Chicago. CRAZY!
