Congrats Card

Hi everyone! I've got a fun card to share with you today using some Kite Tails Designs product. I'm sure I've said it before and I'll keep saying - the embellishments that come with each collection are AWESOME! Since I'm slowly developing a need for bakers twine, I love that there is plenty of it by Kite Tails.

For this card, I created a zig zag using a technique I found on a blog. I can't remember where. It was one of those things you see and store it in your noggin to use later. I'm pretty sure this was before my Pinterest addiction so you KNOW it would have been in my bookmarks!

Anyway, all I did was punch out squares using my 1" square punch. (It might actually measure the squares slightly larger than 1". Then, I cut them in half and layered them like so.

Super easy and fun way to create a zig zag with multiple patterns. I love how it shows off the graphics from the Blue Sky Day collection by Kite Tails.

For the flower, I used a Gluber by Cosmo Cricket, I stuck the twine to it. By layering with a punched out circle and a brad (both from Blue Sky Day), I created this fun embellishment. Adds lots of texture, don't you think?

Have a fabulous Thursday! Only one more day until FRIDAY! Weeeee!!!
