Not as Innocent

Don't judge a book by its cover.

So true.  I have opened up some very beautifully designed books - only to find the story very boring and not all what the cover reflected. I've also picked up books with the most boring cover and they ended up to be amazing stories.

Don't judge my book by its cover either.

For whatever reason, and perhaps I'm wrong but I really don't think so (LOL), people seem to think I'm more innocent than I look or appear to be.  I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's my sweet, soft, warm, polite, quiet and demure demeanor.

Okay okay.  Anyone who has met me knows I'm not quiet. ;o)

But what I've found is, others feel the need to "protect" me. I'm sure it's really just out of respect. Who knows? At any rate, most are surprised when I reveal things I know or have done or have seen. Most of the reactions have been shock and surprise.
