How excited was I to see that my friend Ronda is starting the One Little Word challenge again? It's scaled back and the words will be on her personal blog but, nonetheless, I've missed this challenge! I love words and I love how a scrapbook page can be inspired by words.

The first Word Up is Unlock. Love it! The phrase, "unlock the possibilites" came to my mind. Seems fitting for my life, at the moment. So many new possibilities in a new city and I'm excited to be on this journey. It only took one little step of faith and now I'm having a blast seeing how God continues to show that this is exactly where He wants me.

Here is my layout for this OLW challenge using the word UNLOCK:

Lots of Lily Bee is used on this layout. The papers are from the new Persnickety collection, the index card is from the Memorandum collection and die cuts (except for the clouds I hand cut) are from the Buttercup collection. I love how easy it is to mix collections with Lily Bee.

The acrylic flowers are from Basically Bare. I thought about altering them somehow but ended up loving them in their natural state. They add a beautiful soft texture and balance without being overwhelming.

Looking for another opportunity to get some mojo and be inspired? Maybe these monthly words will help you too! I'm so excited to see what the next word will be already.
