I don't know about where you are but the snow has made an appearance here in Chicago. While it isn't much compared to what the Northeast just got... not even close... it is enough and it has stuck around. I love snow. I really do. I don't mind it right now but I am beginning to feel the longing for slightly warmer temps and not having to put on layers and layers and layers before heading out the door.
I thought I would share a couple of cards I recently made for publication but didn't make the cut. That's alright. Because I get to share them sooner and with you, on my blog!
For the following cards I used the same sunshine shape, using the Silhouette Cameo. I cut out the shape on white cardstock and inked it up to match the papers.
Supplies: Paper, Stickers: Echo Park Paper, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alpha Stickers: (pink) Lily Bee Design, (blue) Websters Pages, Button: American Crafts, Stamp Ink: (yellow) Adirondack, (red) Michaels, Glitter glue: Stickles by Ranger Industries, Border Punch: Fiskars, Silhouette Shape: Cute Sun Design ID #26907
Don't those alpha stickers look GREAT together??? I love the colors and how the fonts just flow.
Here is a dimensional shot showcasing the sunshine and jute.
This is the second card I made using the same sunshine shape and product.
Ah. Sunshine. I am welcoming the warmth ANYTIME!
