Life is Good {Laina Lamb Designs}

I've got more projects coming using lovely stamps and dies by Laina Lamb for My Favorite Things. I recently replaced my Cuttlebug with the Grand Calibur by Spellbinders. I had to get rid of my Cuttlebug before moving to Chicago because it was just too heavy. I LOOOOVE the Grand Calibur! I love that it can fit 8.5 x 11 sized paper so I don't have to cut it down. And the cut is amazing. Oh... and it's actually lighter than my Cuttlebug. If you can believe that!

But I'm not just here to chat about my new embossing/die cut machine - I'm here to show off Laina's latest die and stamp collection, created for MFT. I love the quality of MFT stamps. They are so crisp and clean.

First, I used some cardstock and dies to create the pocket and the card insert. I then stamped the library card image onto the card insert.

Using different colors of stamp ink and changing the direction, I used one of the stamps to create the pattern on the front of the pocket.

Easy and quick and it matched perfectly with the Everyday Eclectic papers by Allison Kreft.

And what card isn't complete without an SRM Sticker???

Life, truly, IS good!
