Celebrating Eight Hundred

I am celebrating today!

This blog post officially marks my 800th post. I can't believe it!

Now some questions:

Is 800 truly a milestone number?

Why not 500?

Why not wait until 1000?

And here are my answers:

Of course it is.

Because I didn't.

Maybe I'll do it again.

This blog did not begin as a paper-crafting blog. In fact, when I first began blogging, I was part of a site called Modblog. It was one of the first "web log" type sites out there and I was among several others who were testing out the waters. Blogging for me began as a public diary. I shared my thoughts on life and about my week. I shared faith stuff and would use it to respond to others blog posts.

Blogging has quickly evolved since I first entered the world, that is for sure! And it has even changed 800 posts ago. Here is a little snapshot of my first post on this here blog:

Some of my favorite posts from last 800:

Without Words - Part 1 and Part 2
(Thank you Pinterest!)

And SO many more! As I was glancing at posts, it was hard for me to not keep linking. Especially the ones that use my favorite product, announcing guest designing opportunities and publications and contests, etc., etc., etc.

This blog has brought me so much joy. It is a blessing and privilege to use it to share my creative life, my faith life and so much more.

To celebrate, I am giving away this:
