I am curious about a lot of things.
Sometimes I'll become so filled with questions that I feel anxious. Worry sets in. And I spend so much time in that emotion that I miss out on opportunity. Why do I do that? Can you relate?
Thankfully, over the years, I've become more in tune to those moments. I can snap out of it quicker and count my blessings.
I think being curious is good. But, for me especially, it's something that I need to be very aware of where I am emotionally heading.
I created this layout using the May kit CURIOSITY from Scrapbooking from the Inside Out.
The journaling is hidden behind the typewriter and says:
I'm curious about my future. I'm curious about how things will turn out. What kind of person will I be in 5 or 10 years? I'm curious and optimistic. No worry here.
I tried something new with this layout that included using some modeling paste and the yellow paint that is included with the kit. I also used a stencil that came in a past kit and had some fun.
I also used lots of layering with this layout. I have found that cutting the ends of the papers, to create a pennant look, adds some really cool interest. I also used the ribbon, from the kit, to create some texture.
When I look at this layout, I still see something clean and simple but also some experimenting. I challenge you to do the same!
What are you feeling curious about?
