Life is Good

I am celebrating 800 blog posts! Click this image to take you to the celebration. The chance to win a fun prize awaits you. In the meantime, keep scrolling down to read my current post.

This past Saturday was National Scrapbooking Day. As if we (I) need a "holiday" to create. Ha! But the motivation is always appreciated. Agreed?

To begin, I always need to make a card. Seems a little backward, don't you think? I mean, most of us create the layout and then use up the scraps for cards. Well, truth be told, I am a card maker. It's where my roots are and how I got started in this wonderful paper crafting hobby. So, card making first it is!

Supplies: Paper, cardstock stickers: Echo Park Paper, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Clear stickers: SRM Press, Washi Tape: Bella Blvd and Websters Pages

I love that little bird!

When I realized the birdie was looking up, I knew I wanted to use a positive and uplifting sentiment. My first "go-to" for my sentiments is in my sticker stash. LOVE SRM Stickers! They seriously melt into the paper.

I also used a sticker with stitching on it to add some texture and create balance with the dark colors.

Looking forward to sharing more with you on this blog! Have a great day!
