SFTIO Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrapbooking from the Inside Out Design Team Blog Hop! We are showcasing layouts by the current design team using the June kit TRANSFORMATION.If you are just arriving at my blog, you are at the right place as it all starts here! This hop is special as we say goodbye to some very wonderful ladies, who have been part of the SFTIO family for over a year and will continue to be forever family.

We are also saying HELLO to our new TEEN COLLECTIVE. What is a "Teen Collective"? We are combining the Teen Designers from CreateU with our Design Team at SFTIO. This is a wonderful opportunity to have each of these girls give their perspective of the monthly emotion. Each Teen Designer will be joining us for one month as a Guest Designer but, will be a constant and active "voice" on our website and forum.

Ready to begin? I am sharing one of my layouts using the June kit TRANSFORMATION.

I love the earthy tone that kraft sets for my layouts. The neutral color is so perfect for someone, like me, who doesn't like to use a lot of color and such as the base. I just love to layer my papers and, so, using kraft works great.

I decided to try something I've not done before and, that is to matte each pattern piece with black. It gives it an interesting look. A little bold and definitely defines each layer.

I loved recording the change I've noticed within myself. I use to put up a front, lie, guard myself. While guarding my heart isn't necessarily a bad thing, I had my guard up way too much and way too often. By not letting anyone in, I could never heal or live life fully. It's so healing to allow others into my life and to showcase true vulnerability.

Pretty product close ups.

It is an absolute joy to create using these kits. Each month is a mini- therapy session and emotional release as I use the product to record my inner thoughts and feelings. I know that I am a better person by using scrapbooking this way!

You can grab your own kit (they have been selling out FAST!) by clicking here.
Also, check out our FREE Inspiration Page here. So much content to get you going on your inner, creative journey.
We also have a great message board that is full of wonderful women.

And what blog hop would it be if there wasn't a prize??? We've got a collection of some awesome scrappy goodies for one lucky blog hopper. To be eligible, just leave a comment on my blog. You can say anything you want but I would love to hear what TRANSFORMATION means to you! Hey, and you can increase your chances of winning by leaving a comment on each design team blog, along the way. Please leave a comment by Saturday, June 8th by 9 p.m. Pacific Time.

Now I shall send you off onto the next blog which is one of our TEEN designs Jordan Hebl.

Transformation to me means changing from one thing to another. It could either good or bad, deep or shallow.

Love the black mats on each piece! Transformation means making a significant change in oneself--not just a little one, but a big shift.

Transformation is a change in something, like the change of the caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly.

Transformation is a change. To me right now transformation is coming from bad and turning my life and outlook into something more positive.

Beautiful!

Transformation for me isn't about changing it's about learning and reflecting which often leads to an action that looks like change.

What? My comment never showed up!
Transformation to me means learning to mold yourself through life's hardships and how your body and mind transforms during life situations.
