Weekend in Review

Hi everyone!

Wow, this past weekend was a whirlwind and while I have lots of projects to share with you, I need to take photos of them and thought I would just do a quick photo share.

Friday night I went to Blues Fest in Chicago.

I seriously love living in this city. This time of year is especially fun as there are tons of festivals every single week. I'll be attending many of them over the next couple of months and highly look forward to getting to know more about this wonderful city.

The next day, I hopped on the Metra and headed out to the burbs to scrap with my Chicagoland Scrappers friends. We all met up at an Archivers and scrapped into the wee hours of the night.

There was a time when I had no problem filling up my car with all my crap. Now I'm without a car and I have to think about how I'm going to carry everything on a train. I don't have a rolling tote anymore so, suitcase it was! Haha! And it worked out just great.

I always get stuff done at crops! It feels great to be around others and create. I pulled out a bunch of product I wanted to work with and you can see below the finished layout.

I'll have a better photo of it, with some close ups, later and will share some design tips. This was a fun layout to put together!

I also completed FOUR cards.

Oh yes. I was on a roll and so sad when the night came to an end.

On a good note, the Chicago Blackhawks are onto the Stanley Cup finals! The game was on during the crop and when I took the train back into the city, there was a HUGE, HUGE group of folks on their way back out to the burbs, from watching the game downtown. They were cheering everyone off the train. I knew it was because of the game but I felt like such a celeb. Haha! I LOVE this city and how passionate they are about their sports. Since I do like hockey, and I'm not committed to another team, I am a TRUE Chicago Blackhawks fan.

Hope you all are having a good start to the week! Now I just need to find time to get all these projects photographed and get them up on the blog and galleries. :)
