Thanks

The other day when I sat down to make some cards I had two thoughts: 1) I wanted to try a different orientation when it comes to opening the card and 2) I wanted to try cutting some shapes and mounting them on the same color of cardstock.

I was also inspired by all the lovely little stars appearing everywhere. I really like stars! Thankfully, the shape abounds on my Silhouette software and I was able to cut out some different sizes of stars for this card. (I use the Silhouette Cameo)

I love how simple this card is and I LOVE the interest and texture that the kraft on kraft brings. How fun, right???

To create the pink tag, I simply trimmed a strip of paper and used on of my heart punches to punch the end. I got the idea while browsing on Pinterest. Pretty clever idea! I'm not sure I'm a fan of how the ends curve, nonetheless, it was a fun technique to try.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Patterned Paper: Lily Bee Design, Wood Sentiment: Studio Calico, Button: Crate Paper, Twine: American Crafts Die Cut Machine: Silhouette Cameo

Thanks for swinging by!
