New Friends

I love scrapbooking.

That should be a given, right?

I was so excited to find out there were many scrapbookers in the Chicagoland area. Some who are fellow designers. So, I immediately got to work and created a group on Facebook so we could begin planning some crop dates. Our first one was back in April and was so much fun! I not only enjoyed meeting some familiar faces in person but, I also enjoyed creating new friendships.

Since that first night, we've gotten together several times. One night I even hosted at my house in the city.

Supplies: Paper, stickers: Allison Kreft Designs for Echo Park Paper, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Pink alpha: American Crafts, Kraft Camera: Maya Road, Machine: Silhouette Cameo

I love the look of chevrons. And REALLY like the look of the wood veneer chevrons. Alas, I do not have any.

Enter my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo.  I simply cut out some with kraft cardstock and replicated the look.  I love the movement it adds.

These cute woodgrain labels were also cut out with my Cameo. Feels good to dust off that machine every once in awhile. :)

Have a great Friday!
