Top Ten of 2013 {Blog Hop}

Hi everyone!

As this year draws to a close, I am continuing a tradition by sharing my top ten favorite layouts of the year. I love going through all of them, reading my journaling again, and recalling what was happening in my head and heart. In some ways, it was hard to choose but, I found a few. :)

And this is all part of a fun blog hop too! So make sure to continue to the bottom to see who to hop along to next.

I have so many layouts the document a certain stage in my Chicago life. This one uses a favorite photo I took from the ferris wheel at Navy Pier. I loved using sparkly elements because this city has certainly dazzled me.
There are several things I love this layout. What mostly captures me is the composition and the photo. The story too, for sure, but everything else makes me smile.

This is a big time favorite of mine. If I were to rank my layouts, this one would be tops. I love that photo of me. I think I look HOT. I love the quote I used and how I did it. It's one of my proudest accomplishments using my Silhouette Cameo. And, the journaling. It felt good to write that all out and accepting the fact that I AM beautiful.

Not only do I appreciate the journaling I did but I like HOW I did it. Those word strips were fun to incorporate and, from a design standpoint, this one is definitely a fave.

Oh this one. Definitely a favorite when it comes to the photo I chose and the journaling content. I also had a lot of fun with the composition and overall design of this layout.

This one is mostly in my top ten because of the title work. The photo of me isn't a favorite, the product is not necessarily something I'm drawn to but the journaling and the use of my Cameo and other alpha product was something I sat back and enjoyed looking at.

I'm surprised that I chose this one, to be honest. Not my usual style. I'm not a mister or painty type scrapper. But I love the way this one turned out. It definitely reflects the topic of journaling I recorded. It's probably one of the only layouts that I've used that much misting and actually liked the results.

Product! LOVE this layout because I got to use some of my favorite product and also record something that definitely made me happy and has eased this move to Chicago. Finding scrapbook friends is very important to me and I'm so blessed to be able to know these talented ladies!

This is a favorite simply for the content. I made some choices that were difficult to do but were so healing. I'm so glad that I have it documented with art now. And you have to admit, that is some pretty blue paper!

This is another one where I really love the photo I chose to represent the journaling. I can't stop looking at it and taking it all in. I can still feel the emotion radiating from it and feel the freedom of letting it out.

And a bonus one (or two):

And another Chicago layout. I loved using product from my stash and those maps! This one hangs on my wall and I love rereading it and looking at it every day.

And there you have it! My top ten (with a bonus).

Now check out the other lovelies that are participating. SO much talent and inspiration!!! Have fun hopping along!
