For my birthday, I received a FABULOUS gift. An entire gift set of Gelatos!!! Woooo!!! How fun, right? So, naturally, I've been playing quite a bit. I used some on a layout for Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. I'll share that a little later in the month, though.
Right now, I have a card to share. :)
I used three different shades from the blue family and white. To create the gradient circles, I began on the inside with the lightest blue. I left a circle in the middle without any gelato. Then, I simply switched to a darker blue as I got further out on the paper.
After that, I spritzed the paper with water until it was pretty soaked. I took a tissue and blended it up.
That is addicting by the way.
I added the white to the center and all over to help lighten the blue and help it blend. Spritzed more water and used a brush to blend it all in.
I also used the white Gelato to color up the kraft chipboard speech bubble. Super fun! I colored and then used my water brush to blend it in. After letting it dry, I stamped the sentiment.
I used some corduroy brads I've had in my stash for years! Since they are brads, I used pop dots to adhere the paper onto my card base.
Can't wait to play some more!
