Today I'm sharing a card that uses up some old product, while mixing in some new. I also am using a super simple technique that uses up some scraps and gives projects a lot of color.
Somehow, I've adopted a lot of old papers from Cosmo Cricket and I LOVE it! I miss these collections from Cosmo. Really. Miss. Them.
The papers are from the Little Girls collection.
I just cut out strips of paper and tore the ends. Nothing new or revolutionary. In fact, I was inspired by washi tape for this look. But, I know this is something done on many, many projects. And it never gets old. :)
On the top, I layered a journal circle from a collection that I cannot remember. But, I'm sure if you have anything from Jillibean or something similar, it would work. I like the horizontal lines on the card as it keeps with the overall composition of the card. I think if it was plain white, it would be too stark.
Pops of pearls, a stamped sentiment and some super cute wood veneers help complete this card.
Looking forward to giving this to a happy couple. :)
Have a wonderful day!
