Page Maps meet Paper Issues!

I have been a long time fan of Becky Fleck and Page Maps! The maps are always a "go to" when I am lacking mojo or my creative brain just can't place certain elements. So, when I heard that Page Maps and Paper Issues were teaming up, of course I did some back flips (in my mind...)!!!

The map I got to work with was a 12x12 multi-photo page. I loved the size of photos it called for. Of course, with maps and sketches, you can stick to it as much as you like. I chose to stick with the photo sizes.

Here is the page map I was sent:

And here is the layout I made:

And a few close ups...

The star mask is from The Crafter's Workshop and I used embossing ink and powder to create the white stars. I love the look of white embossed images on kraft paper.

The twine doodling was fun to create. I just love the texture it brings to my pages and it's super easy to do. I simply trimmed off twine and used Glossy Accents to get it to stick. OK... so it is a little messy when trying to push it down on the paper. But Glossy Accents washes off easily. :)

I love mixing alpha for titles! I think the black looks really nice against the colors of the pattern papers and kraft.

Several of the supplies I used for this page can be found in the Paper Issues shop.
