Top Ten of 2014 Blog Hop

Hi friends!

I, along with a fabulously talented group of ladies, are sharing our favorite layouts from this past year. This is such a fun tradition! I love browsing through my galleries and pondering what each layout has meant to me.

There is also a super AWESOME prize for this hoppity hop. More about that at the end of this post. :)

For those who have been hopping, you should have come from Suzanna's blog. If not, begin at Juliana's blog. I don't want you to miss out on all the awesome.

Now for my faves...

This was a fun one to create. I'm a lifelong Seahawks fan so, you can imagine the tears of joy when creating this page. It was a long time coming for us hawks fans!

This past year saw me through some difficult moments and choices. And another big transition. I recorded several pages about this and this one is recording how I do not regret any of my choices.

Another one documenting direction. I really love the product on this page, as well as, the compass mask. That was a lot of fun to create!

I love this page. The composition isn't mind blowing but, I like the simplicity and thought behind this page. The topic at Inside Out was Femininity. It caused me to evaluate how I perceive "feminism" and how it applies to me. It's a hot topic for sure. I love taking photos of myself that reflect an emotion too.

A bestie layout! A fave for the photo, of course. I had just moved back home and my heart was so happy to be back with my TRUIST of friends. And the block design was one I struggled with but, ended up loving in the end.

I created this page to coincide with a book release promotion I was helping with. (The book and study is amazing by the way!) If you have been around my blog long enough, you know I am an emotion-based and me scrapper. So there has to be a page for just about everything. :)

I was still living in Chicago and had just returned from Anaheim. The west coast was beckoning me again. I had to record it. I really love how this page turned out. I played with some interesting balance here.

The past few months have afforded me some awesome designing opportunities. One of those was making the Paper Issues team and, subsequently, guest designing for Page Maps in December with some of the PI girls. I am always a fan of Becky Flecks sketches and always love how my pages turn out when I use them!

I think True Friend by Fancy Pants was one of my most favorite collections this Fall. Love the colors and love how this page turned out. This was another page created for Inside Out and it also appeared in the November Fancy Pants newsletter. Exciting!

I've noticed, since being back "home", the mojo has been flowing like crazy. I'm really liking and enjoying what I've been making. This page took me on a triangle journey. White is never an easy background for me but, this one is a favorite by far.

We have a fabulous PRIZE to be one by one of you hoppers. It's a $75 gift certificate to PAPER ISSUES! Woohoo! That's a pretty stellar prize for the new year.

Simply leave me a comment here letting me know your word for the new year. If you don't have one, that's okay. Just tell me something new yearish. (Honestly... all comments will be eligible.)

Now I shall send you off to the fabulous Monika Wright.

If you get lost along the way, I have included the entire hop list here:
