Snowflake Card {Say it ain't snow cold!}

Hello everyone!

Is it winter in your part of the world? Supposedly it is here. But there has been no snow. It's raining.

And, to be honest, I'm quite okay with that! We've had snow in the forecast a couple of times but it never happens. The day before it changes to clouds and rain. Oh bummer.

Well, it is "snowing" at Paper Issues for the next two weeks as we have a brand new issue!

Say it Ain't Snow Cold Outside!

We're encouraging you to create projects incorporating winter, snowflakes, snowmen, winter weather, snow, sledding, not feeling well/have a cold, outdoors, snow photos, polar bears, penguins, use frosty colors like blue, grey, tan, white, silver, etc., etc., etc. And guess what? It doesn't have to be anything new. Perhaps you created something months ago and shared it in a gallery or on a blog post... you can still link up!

Here is a card I created for this issue...

I love those wood veneer snow flakes. They are from Studio Calico and you can find them in the Paper Issues shop. To make them white was super easy. A little bit of gesso and some white paint. To finish it off, I used some glittery enamel dots from KI Memories and a tag from Elles Studio. (Also in the PI shop.)  The alpha is an old set from Websters Pages. I love the script!

Now... get yourself over and link up your projects with us! Paper Issues is sponsoring the prize and it's a $20 gift certificate to the store. AND... guess what? If YOU win... you can use my code melissa20 to save 20% off your entire order. Win, win! (That code is always available to you by the way.)
