Another World Card Making Day!

Hello, hello!

There are two holidays that make me feel empowered to spend alllll day in my crafty space - National Scrapbook Day and World Card Making Day. Today is WCMD and I've been participating with the challenges at Scrapbook & Cards Today. (LOVE this magazine and I'm so thankful to say I have a card in the Creative Cards issue! Woopee!)

Here are two cards I've created using two of the challenges, so far...

This first card is inspired by the Round Robin Challenge. I went straight from the image inspiration. I was drawn to the colors and the feathers! This was a lot of work. I was hoping I had a feather stamp but, only had the stencil. So, I traced it and then colored it in with watercolors. What a pain! But, I do like how it turned out.

The sentiment is a new release cut file, just for WCMD, from Just Nick Studio. Loved it right away!

The next card is for the Color Suite challenge. I chose the following color palette. SO fall and perfect to use with the new Pumpkin Spice collection from Simple Stories.

And guess what I busted out??? STICKLES!!! Whaaaaaaat? Yep. Still have a little bottle that's followed me around for years. It added the perfect sparkle to the heart. Glad I kept my Stickles around!

Love, love this holiday! And I do plan to keep creating today! Back to my crafty space. :)
