Week of Thanks {Day 3}

So, I'm just going to be honest and let you know I typed up and scheduled these blog posts in one night. Doing so has afforded me to truly ponder all that I'm thankful for. There is a lot and I'm so glad I stopped to process it all. And I'm so glad you are here so I can share it all with you!

This time I'm so thankful for the careers I have. Yes... careerS. The first one is my PreK teaching gig. Gosh I love the school I teach at. It's a daycare/early learning school so, we've got a good mix of things going on. We don't follow the regular school district schedule when it comes to government holidays and don't take a long Winter or Summer break. It's year round baby! But, I'm thankful for the support from administration and the families. I'm thankful for the unique setting our school provides and I just love utilizing my gift of teaching this way. Plus, I've got a GREAT excuse for playing with playdoh and dollies. :)

My other two careers are running a ministry blog called This Is Your Story. It was a huge step of faith to start it and it has been so much fun watching women be empowered with their personal stories of redemption and hope. SO inspiring! And, finally, my other career is as the Women's Ministry Director at my church. Both of these jobs are volunteer but, I love them so much I don't care. Not yet anyway. HA! I'm open to whatever God has planned.

So, these three keep me busy, that's for sure! But it doesn't feel busy because I love all three of them SO much! Seriously.

Here is the card I created for this post... It's got more lovely Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice yumminess!

It's not a 'thank you' card today but, a simple 'Hello' goes a long way. Gosh I just love this collection! Again, I love to layer but, instead of strips of paper, I went with circles. It creates so much movement but doesn't overpower!

Supplies: Paper, stickers, enamel dots: Simple Stories, wood veneer: {word} Heidi Swapp {heart} Studio Calico, Spray Ink: Jen Hadfield

Take some time and be thankful for your job! Especially if you have one! Even if it isn't your favorite, find some part of it that you can be thankful for - even if it's clock out time. Ha!
