Easter Cards with Imaginise

Hello hello!

I had several cards on the Imaginisce blog not too long ago and thought it was time to share them here with you! A week has gone by and I'm still celebrating Easter and the amazing gift that Jesus gave to us by dying on the cross and conquering death! So amazing!

Let's get onto these fun cards that I created using some super adorable Imaginisce product.

This first card was inspired by a fun technique I found via Pinterest. The egg shape is a piece of a cardstock that I cut out an egg shape. It's 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" after trimming all the sides. Underneath is the card base and I adhered down a bunch of strips of paper. The ends of the 12x12 papers work great for this! You could also use washi tape. :)

Then, I placed the piece with the egg shape cut out on top of the card base. And wah la!

Fun, right? It has me wanting to try out other shapes and digging into my stash to use up all the pretty scraps I have laying around! The sentiment was stamped with some letter stamps in my stash. The letters didn't line up perfectly but, you know what, it is kind of cool and so... I'm leaving it!

For this next card, I grabbed a piece of the wood plank patterned paper from the Parrrty Me Hearty collection and cut out a cross. The yellow paper is from the Sunny collection. This card is clean and simple. Just how I like it!

After adding the cross, flower and sentiment, it needed something more to just bring it all together. I was able to easily add that by simply drawing a line around the edge.

And there you go! I hope you had a great Easter and are enjoying Spring wherever you are!
