This past week, we at Just Nick Studio got to team up with the fabulous Fancy Pants Designs team. Yay! Each of us at Just Nick were given some of the gorgeous Attwell collection. Oh my goodness, I'm in love. It seriously is stunning and so versatile! I'm going to have fun using it for other projects, as well.
You can check out my page and blog post over at Just Nick Studio or, hang out right here and see it.
I absolutely love any cut file I can use as a background and incorporate lots of different colors and patterns. The radiate file was so fun to use! I chose to cut it with kraft and layer the top with kraft. It creates really neat dimension. To add the pattern papers, I just held the negative of the cut file to the paper and cut around it. That way it was the same shape and slightly bigger. I used tape to secure it to the back. Easy peasy.
The real fun was trying to figure out where I wanted to place each piece of paper to balance the color scheme.
When I placed the final look of the radiate cut file on top of my page, it needed something more to ground it. So, I opted for some faux stitching around the edge. I think it worked out pretty well.
How fun are those tags? By layering them under the photo, it helped to create a visual triangle (which I love!) with the color scheme.
Here is another close up of my page...
Like the cut files I used? You can find them in the Just Nick Shop! Go check them out!
Thanks for swinging by!
