Well hello there!
I've been on a card making spree lately. I just love getting back to my roots and finding joy in creating these little wonders.
Today I'm sharing a card using some of my stash. I dug out on of my Crate Paper 6x6 pads and did some layering.
Layering doesn't always have to be geometric and square shapes. You can have fun with circles and scallops too! For the background, I did some watercolor and ink drops. It creates a fun texture and gives the card a "messy" look.
I have had that wood veneer in my stash for awhile, I can't remember who it is from, and I knew I wanted to use it on the card. Finally, adding some jute for texture and a little bow, helped complete this card. Oh! I can't forget the sequins! I'm loving the shaker card look but, I also love how sequins can be "spilled" onto a project. I love the sparkle it adds!
Thanks for swinging by today! I've got lots more coming over the next few weeks... plus some FABULOUS news!!!!!!!!!! *insert cliffhanger here*
