Clique Kits DT Blog Share

Welcome!

Today kicks off a couple of things for me. One, I am so excited to begin this new adventure designing for an awesome kit club. This blog hop is a fun one to help you get to know me and check out my style. I am sharing a layout but, I'll be showing you how to make the most out of your kits by making cards! The second thing this blog post kicks off is my regular blog posting schedule. I took the Summer off from any type of deadlines and creating, unless it was for me. No required blogging. No submitting to anything. It was a great decision and I feel refreshed and READY to get back into the groove.

So... all that to say, if you are hopping along, you should have gotten here via Nathalie. If not, the hop begins on the Clique Kits blog so, make sure to head over there. One lucky commenter will WIN a gift certificate to the shop so, make sure to leave a comment below.

First, I'll share with you the page I created...

I was sent the Oh Happy Day collection by Amy Tangerine for American Crafts. It's such a fun and colorful collection with lots of options to create about. I thought a page about myself would be appropriate for a blog hop like this.

The background cut file is one from Just Nick Studio, called Visual Effects Background. If you are new to my blog and projects, you'll find out quick that I love to layer and I love using background cut files.

Here are a couple of close ups...

Now for some fun facts! (I love these so much... reading about others and also sharing my own):

Fun Facts:
1. What's your favorite color? Cerulean Blue, yellow and pink!
2. What's your favorite song right now? I mostly listen to worship music and my favorite one is called You Make Me Brave by Amanda Cook (Bethel)3. Who inspires you? I really don't know. I have sat here for 15 minutes trying to think of someone who inspires me creatively and it truly is a collective of people. I'm usually inspired by a style and many creative folks utilize multiple styles. Spiritually? I love Lysa Terkeurst and Beth Moore. 4. Favorite Book? The Nightingale5.Favortie Movie? The Sound of Music6.Favorite snack? Chips and salsa7. What is your favorite food? I could eat tacos all the live long day. 8. Where would you like to visit someday? Germany! Really, all of Europe.9. Who got you into scrapbooking? The gals at the LSS that is now closed. I loved going in there and seeing the latest and greatest. They had the best classes too.10. How many years have you been scrapbooking? Going on 16 years. 11. Favorite Manufacturer? I like a few! Fancy Pants, Simple Stories, Jillibean Soup

Thanks for swinging by! As mentioned earlier, leave a comment for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Clique Kits shop!

Now, I must send you on to the next stop - the fabulously talented Magali!
