Top 16 of 2016 {Blog Hop}

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a fun yearly tradition that I've been part of for the past several years. I, along with many other creative ladies, are sharing our favorite projects from the last year.

I love doing this! Why? Well, for one, it causes me to actually enjoy the pages I created for the sake of memory keeping. I actually go back and fulfill the purpose of those pages - to remember and reflect. Also, it's fun to see how my style has evolved, improved, shifted or remained the same. I love to see other crafters, artists, etc. favorite projects too. It's interesting to see what are MY favorite vs. what other people love. Isn't that interesting?

So, this is a blog hop! If you are just arriving at my blog, you'll want to head over to Mendi's blog and start. There are prizes, hosted by the various bloggers, and I don't want you to miss out on that either! If you are already hopping along, you should have arrived here from Traci's blog.

First, I want to reflect on all that 2016 included for my creative endeavors. I had some amazing designing opportunities with Imaginisce, Just Nick Studio and Clique Kits. My focus on creating has shifted from layouts to cards. As December came to a close, I remembered how much I love making cards! So, I'm refocusing my niche in this industry. While I'll still make layouts and "me" layouts, what I share with all of you will have a heavy focus on cards. I'm excited for that! I also launched my new video series called Let's Make Cards with Melissa. I might dub it as LMCM. We'll see. ;) Speaking of video, I finally got a good set-up for recording and have regularly posted videos to my You Tube channel. That is exciting! Viewership is low but, that's okay. Everything takes time and I'll keep posting regularly. :)

Alright, enough yibber yabber... let's get on to my faves:
*I have to match the year so, I'm sharing Fave 16 of 2016. ;)
**99% of the cut files used are from Just Nick Studio

Hey! You made it!

I'd love to offer up a little prize on my blog, too! How about I treat you to a $10 gift certificate to Just Nick Studio? Just leave a comment below, on my Instagram or You Tube post, telling me your creative goals for 2017! Let's spur one another on and make this next year amazing! I will choose a winner on January 2nd, 2017.

After you leave a comment, head on over to Monika's blog! Happy Hopping!

P.S. Here is a complete list of everyone on this blog hop, in case you get lost.

My creative goal is to quit trying out for design teams. I am tired of rejection, so I need to focus on why I started all this creating to begin memories. So I will focus on my layouts and cards. :o)

Great to see you sticking to your goal of building your YouTube channel! I heard someone recently say joining challenges is great exposure.

I love your projects! The Attwell one is beautiful and a great way to use those last bits of a collection. My goal is to scrap faster. I'm soooo slow I need to just have fun with it not fiddle with every layout!
