Love Us {Clique Kits}

Hey friends,

Well, the weeks have been flying by and life just keeps on trucking along. In my personal world, I've been so busy but, have still been creating. Just haven't been able to find a few minutes to blog or share! And here I sit, in a nice quiet room with the sun streaming in. I'm on my break from being around my 4-5 year old students and enjoying some time to blog.

I managed to create another layout, recently, and it uses the beautiful April Jellybean kit! Such a fun collection of product from Bella Blvd and the Make Your Mark collection! Love, love, love! I had to pair it up with a cut file from Just Nick Studio, too. Here is the finished page:

I loved the quote 'be impossible to forget' that was on the bottom of the 12x12 paper. I had used part of the paper for some cards and saved that bottom piece for a page of some sort. I realized I had not scrapped a photo of me with my aunt and cousin, hitting the Placer Wine Trail in California last Summer! I love the time I get to spend with them especially when we get to drink delicious wine!

I threw in some items from my own stash like the black script words. Those are from a Dear Lizzy collection for American Crafts. I like how they ground the overall design and also just help to create a theme and feel for the subject matter.

The acrylic 'beautiful' word piece IS in the kit and is so fun! I chose to adhere it with a staple. Easy peasy and I like how it comes off the page. Not sure how easy it will be to get it into a page protector right now but, that's okay. :)

Other items from my own stash are the pink arrow enamel dots (Doodlebug Design) and the Oh Happy day and date stamp which are both from American Crafts.

I love layering and creating clusters and look how fun that Pink Paislee paper is coming through the cut file! It's also in the April kit.

Thanks for joining me today! And thanks for hanging around even when I seem to go on these two to three week unplanned sabbaticals. Ha!
