Hello, hello faithful blog reading friends!
I almost miss the days when I loved to blog. The excitement of sharing projects and all the new scrappy goodies made it OH so much fun! Then, it became work. Work, work, work. And that is what become of design team work too. This past year, while I did design for an awesome company, I realized that I am DONE with doing design team stuff. It's time to just create for ME and only ME. No deadlines. No assignments. No forced product. No stress.
With that said, I'm not disappearing.
I love to teach. In fact, my current "day job" is as a PreK teacher. In the past I've taught older ages art and music. So fun. I love equipping, facilitating and inspiring. While I want to create for ME, I also want to balance a way to instruct and guide other creative types - specifically card makers. Or wannabe card makers.
So, here is what is around the bend. The next month, is going to be 100% focused on craft shows. November is my craft show month and I'm busy finishing all the goodies I'll have in my booth. I'm also taking it a bit more seriously this year as it will also be an opportunity to spread the word about my new focus and adventure in this industry.
After November and all the holidays... I will, hopefully, be in a place to open my new CLASSROOM! This will be a local, and live, card making class, as well as, online classes.

I truly believe this will satisfy my love to teach AND my love to create but it will all be on MY terms. The cards I'll be sharing will be 100% with product that I love and in a style that I enjoy. If you like what I create then, these classes might be something for you. If you are looking for a different style or approach, we have the wonderful blessing of having SO many talented designers who do process videos and classes - I'd be so happy to refer you!
And, real quick before I head out - thank you so much for sticking around! I'm so thankful that you still read this little old blog and are part of my community.
On that note, I won't have any new blog posts until October or November. They will be posts related to my craft shows if you have any interest. ;) I'll be sharing what I'm creating and then sharing photos of my booth with some thoughts, etc.
Peace out bean sprout!
